Casino Pit Manager manages and directs the daily activities for an assigned area of the casino. Surveys the casino floor and looks for players that are cheating and removes suspected card counters. Being a Casino Pit Manager observes gaming personnel for evidence of theft or ties to dishonest players. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Casino Pit Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Casino Pit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.
