Casino Pit Manager manages and directs the daily activities for an assigned area of the casino. Surveys the casino floor and looks for players that are cheating and removes suspected card counters. Being a Casino Pit Manager observes gaming personnel for evidence of theft or ties to dishonest players. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Casino Pit Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Casino Pit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Prepare food items according to company standards and recipes
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food preparation stations, dining areas, and restrooms
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Follow all safety and health guidelines while handling food and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
