Casino Pit Manager manages and directs the daily activities for an assigned area of the casino. Surveys the casino floor and looks for players that are cheating and removes suspected card counters. Being a Casino Pit Manager observes gaming personnel for evidence of theft or ties to dishonest players. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Casino Pit Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Casino Pit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. - Promotes events in gaming, slots, restaurants and other areas, as required or requested. Sells change to guests on request.
- Develops, maintains and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
- Performs all duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies and procedures.
- Alerts supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection and variety of all beverages, food and equipment.
- Complies with established security policies and procedures.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of bar operations at all times. Exercises caution and evaluates circumstances for appropriate security or safety response. Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns. Verifies customers are 21 years of age and stamps hand.
- Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
$11.40 tips per hour

Experience
Preferred- Preferred experience: Demonstrated bartending experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or gaming environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work. Willing to train the right candidate.
