Cashier - Grocery Store assists customers checking out in a store. Scans items, requests price checks, honors appropriate coupons, collects payment and gives change as appropriate. Being a Cashier - Grocery Store is responsible for counting contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift. May bag items or perform other duties as needed. Additionally, Cashier - Grocery Store may help with store opening and closing procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Cashier - Grocery Store works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Corner Store is looking for a Cashier to manage customer transactions accurately, efficiently, and with a friendly demeanor.
Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, ensuring customer satisfaction, and other responsibilities as needed. To be successful in this role, a "can-do" attitude is a must. Previous customer service experience is a plus! We are also happy to train a motivated learner.

- Resolve customer complaints
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas
