Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and preparing a variety of beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Take customer orders and ensure they are prepared to their specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
- Use POS or similar software to process orders efficiently
- Demonstrate knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Skagway, AK 99840: Relocate before starting work (Required)
