Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Armed Security Officer Supervisor to join our team. As an Armed Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Your primary duties will include, client relations, policy enforcement, leadership and supervision, schedule shift coverage, patrolling duties, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to security incidents.
Duties:
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their security concerns and providing regular updates on security operations. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and feedback.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, safety, and conduct. Address any violations promptly and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of armed/unarmed security personnel, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Arrange shift coverage in the event unexpected or additional openings occur.
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security equipment
- Enforce property rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches, in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and provide detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents
Qualifications:
- Must possess valid state-issued armed security guard license, PERC card, valid drivers license, reliable transportation.
- Certification in firearms training and proficiency, including ongoing qualification requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in armed security or related fields, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience in training and developing security personnel, and providing constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is a plus
- Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict management abilities
