    Position

    Site supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations of their site. Including but not limited to: scheduling, supplies, supervision.


    This position reports to the Medical Services Manager and/or the Assistant Medical Services Manager.


    Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor include but are not limited to:


    Patient Care

    • Rendering care to injured/ill workers as necessary in accordance with organizational standing orders.
    • Determining if first aid is adequate or if transport to a physician, ER, or trauma center is needed. Coordinate transport as needed (911).
    • Coordinate return to work of injured workers.
    • Following up as required with patients and physicians.
    • Provide patient education pertaining to disease progression and relevant therapies.
    • Participate with contracted disability management vendors to assure client progression.
    • Advocate with other case managers and other service providers on behalf of workers.
    • Provide regular reports on patient health status.
    • Collect urine drug, saliva, and breath alcohol tests following chain of custody.
    • Performing emergency skills, such as managing respiratory, trauma, cardiac emergencies and patient assessments in a timely and effective manner.
    • Providing routine information related to medical treatments and procedures
    • Measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and escorting patients to

    treatment facilities as needed

    • Documenting and recording all patient interactions and care provided
    • Participating in and/or conducting “man - down” drills in the field.
    • Participating in site safety to include but not limited to conducting daily stretch and flex, safety briefings, and site walks.
    • Regularly pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Clinic Operations

    • Maintaining log on employees seeking treatment and treatment records.
    • Maintaining all safety records to include accident reports.
    • Maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering supplies as needed.
    • Ensuring that all shifts are scheduled in accordance with the client's needs while adhering to the overtime policy.
    • Conducting record keeping, filing, data entry as required by the project, other than patient or

    treatment related records

    • Maintaining comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environments
    • Assisting with special projects as assigned



    Teamwork and Cooperation

    • Maintaining relationships with medical providers, trade partners, and clients
    • Motivates others
    • Act as liaison between employees, employer, insurance company, and medical service providers.
    • Working with supervisors in the area of patient medical needs and filing supervisor’s accident reports.
    • Advising and/or assisting supervisors in conducting investigation of accidents.
    • Provides resources and support to the team and peers.

    • Collaborates with peers on shared accountabilities.

    Communication

    • Delivers clear messages and communicates effectively (i.e. expectations)
    • Utilizes Company tools to keep self and team informed (e.g., supervisor meetings, communication binder, bulletin boards, etc.)
    • Creates and delivers development plans and performance reviews in a thoughtful manner.
    • Gives timely and specific feedback (recognition and improvement) while maintaining self-esteem.
    • Has difficult conversations when needed and does not avoid situations that may involve conflict.

    Qualifications

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License, EMT Certificate, Paramedic Certificate in good standing within state of practice. (Certification requirement may vary per site)
    • Current CPR card.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in electronic health records software, email, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet based applications.
    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Strong Management skills
    • Flexible hours required, including some evenings and weekends.
    • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk;
    • use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop,
    • kneel, crouch, or crawl, occasionally in very small spaces; talk or hear and taste or smell
    • Must be able to pass a medical fitness review if requested
    • Experience working on a construction site preferred
