Position Summary: The candidate selected for this role will lead a team of warehouse operations personnel as they execute organizational and operational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Provide leadership and direction to a team of warehouse operations personnel as they carry out daily warehouse functions.
Ensure that operational resources, including equipment and human talent, are properly allocated in relation to daily needs.
Serve as a role model to all subordinate staff in the completion of the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Policy objectives.
Effectively represent the organization to a diverse workforce and nurture a culture of responsibility and customer service amongst all subordinate staff.
Serve as a mentor, leader, and team builder.
Coordinate the efforts of shipping office, production and customer service to ensure that customer orders are effectively satisfied.
Liaise between subordinate staff and senior management to ensure organizational goals and objectives are effectively communicated and met.
Oversee all administrative processes within the distribution center to include generation of shift, labor, and operational reports.
Ensure that all work in carried out in compliance with all company safety and operational standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities for warehouse and some dock office positions.

Required Education and/or Experience:
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Extensive supply chain process experience including some manufacturing, inbound receiving, storage, retrieval (full pallets, case pick, layer pick), shipping, transportation, etc.
Excellent organizational and management skills to include the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and assign responsibilities accordingly.
Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills.
Computer and technology skills to include a proficiency in MS Office applications.
Knowledge of RF-enabled warehouse technologies.
Extensive knowledge of material handling challenges.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
Language Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to compose reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information in verbal or written format and effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to correctly read, interpret and process lengthy strings of individual digits in their correct order.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
