  • Bank of New Hampshire is looking for experienced candidates for our current opening of Corporate Cash Management Officer.  In this role, you will be responsible for the sale and delivery of deposit services to Commercial customers as well as development and management of new commercial deposit relationships, providing a superior level of customer service while ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures. In addition, an emphasis will be placed on building strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing quality service and becoming a trusted resource for our customers. 
     
    Below are a few of the primary responsibilities for this dynamic role:

    • Develops and manages commercial deposit relationships by assessing customer needs and recommending Bank products and services as appropriate, including ACH, ACH filter, ICS, Deposit Reconciliation, Repo Accounts, Payroll Services, Merchant Processing, Positive Pay, Wires, etc.
    • Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business prospects; coordinates and participates in local and regional business expositions, participates in community affairs and events, is actively involved in instilling and maintaining a positive sales environment through education of the Bank’s products and services.
    • Responds to and solves complex customer and employee inquiries, problems and transactions, and investigates and follows-up on significant changes in status of existing customers.  As needed, refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
    • Contributes to the overall profitability of the Bank; assists in the implementation of costs controls, income generation, and department marketing efforts.
    • Consistently applies sound decision-making techniques pertaining to all customer inquiries and customer requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned business development responsibilities.
    • Provides guidance, training and support to Banking Office Managers and others who are responsible for business development for the Bank.  Acts as a resource in the absence of or upon request by the Supervisor.
    • Participates in the day-to-day operations of the department as directed; reviews, prepares, and acts on daily and special reports as required.   Participates in various internal committees and projects as assigned by the Supervisor.
    • Assists in the assurance of audit compliance and procedure quality control for the department and recommends and initiates corrective actions to Supervisor. Ensures compliance to meet security precautions and protect customer deposits, bank assets and staff.
    • Training and Education: Actively participate in bank training sessions to enhance individual product and service knowledge, understanding of policies and procedures, computer equipment skills and understanding of federal and state regulations and compliance issues.

     PROFESSIONAL RELATIONS:

    • Works cooperatively with all employees to achieve the goals and objectives of the bank's Mission Statement.
    • Enhances the bank's image by providing representation, involvement and leadership in community activities and charitable, civic and social organizations.
    • Travel throughout the state to Bank of NH customers will be required once training is completed. 

     MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate’s degree and 5 or more years of work experience consisting of business development or sales in the financial services industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting, finance or related area.   Current knowledge of and ability to maintain advanced knowledge of financial industry status and trends.  Demonstrated ability to generate leads and develop prospects into customers.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as skills in common courtesy, written and verbal communications, mathematics, personal computers (Including MS Word & Excel), word processing, planning, and complex problem resolution.
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required in order to perform assigned duties and responsibilities.
