Cash Management Manager jobs in Hampton, VA
Cash Management Manager determines corporate cash requirements and maintains appropriate cash flow. Responsible for managing lockbox deposits and disbursements and wire transfer operations. Being a Cash Management Manager is responsible for the secure and maximum use of corporate funds by working with banks and investment firms. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Cash Management Manager typically reports to a director. The Cash Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cash Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide Customer Service
- Supervise office staff
- Solicit for new or renewed customer business
- Receive payments and post to customer accounts
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security
- Ensure proper handling of office deposits
- Ensure compliance with state and federal lending regulations and company policies
- Ensure prompt completion of applications
- Development and direct branch personnel
- Minimize delinquency through collection activities utilizing telephone, mail, and home visits
- Ensure compliance with company policy procedures
- Ensure reporting of branch figures to corporate office for accounting purposes
- Establish rapport with clients to build working relationships and increase retention
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare individual tax returns utilizing the information provided by the clients, and entering the information into tax preparation software
Job Requirements:
Completion of training period as Assistant Manager with demonstrated managerial ability or previous Cash Advance experience. Knowledge of State and Federal lending regulations. Valid State driver’s license and acceptable driver’s record. Access to reliable transportation for use in employment. Computer literate and able to operate a ten-key calculator.
Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
