Case Worker - Home Care jobs in South Dakota

Trail Ridge Home Care, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest service, is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Lead Caregiver to join our team.

• Hourly wages vary from $17-$21/hr based on experience
• This is a scheduled part-time position generally working 20-25 hours a week. We anticipate the majority of your work will be spent as a caregiver.
• We pay drive time and reimburse for mileage

What you will do:

As a Lead Caregiver at Trail Ridge Home Care, you'll help to orientate new team members, provide mentorship and training to the caregiver team as requested, and assist in filling in client assignments and on-call rotation as needed.

You'll also work in a caregiver capacity, providing companionship and assistance with personal care. You'll work directly with seniors in their homes using a variety of techniques to encourage and support their ability to maintain or attain their highest level of physical, mental, and social well-being. You'll take pride in managing the needs and care regimen of your clients and partner closely with our courteous business office staff to develop care plans.

What you will need:

• Prior experience working with seniors desired, but not required
• Valid driver's license, with good driving record and auto insurance strongly preferred
• Strongly prefer ownership or access to a personal vehicle to transport yourself and clients as needed
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
