Case Manager - Mental Health Services coordinates the overall plan of care for patients with mild to moderate emotional and behavioral problems. Oversees patient evaluation and treatment planning, and monitors patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Being a Case Manager - Mental Health Services acts as a liaison between patient/family and service delivery personnel to ensure patients are being effectively treated. Typically requires a master's degree in social work or equivalent. Additionally, Case Manager - Mental Health Services typically requires a State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Case Manager - Mental Health Services occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Shift: 8-hour shifts, full-time (40 hours per week); availability on holidays and weekends required. Shifts may include: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm, and/or 10:30pm-6:30am.

    The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is a key member of the Meridell Achievement Center who works with our treatment team to use sound judgment and appropriate therapeutic boundaries to provide direct care services and supervision for assigned child and adolescent patients. The MHT is involved in all aspects of the patient's care, from getting up in the morning to getting ready for bed at night and continual monitoring while the patient sleeps. The MHT ensures high-quality delivery of programming and services that align with the mission, vision, and values of Meridell and UHS! The care provided by MHT's contributes to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.


    Qualifications

    Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:

    • High School graduate or equivalent (some college preferred)
    • Valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record (for transports with patients)
    • Must be 21 and older to apply
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen and state background test
