Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpet Installer to join our team. As a Carpet Installer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing carpets in residential and commercial settings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut carpets to fit specific areas

- Remove old carpeting and prepare the surface for installation

- Install carpet padding and stretch carpet into place

- Secure carpets using adhesive, staples, or nails

- Seam carpets together and trim excess material

- Inspect completed work for quality assurance

- Repair damaged carpets as needed

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpet Installer or similar role

- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics

- Proficiency in trim carpentry and fixture installation

- Familiarity with construction estimating and restoration industry standards

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
