Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We're seeking a dynamic individual to join Carpenter's Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving homeless adults. As the Director of Development and Community Engagement, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on charitable fundraising and community outreach.
Your responsibilities will include setting and achieving annual fundraising goals, implementing various fundraising strategies, and cultivating relationships with community partners who support our mission.
We're looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably with 3-5 years of fundraising experience. Previous work in the non-profit sector is beneficial. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $60,000 per year.
