Carpenter jobs in Brockton, MA
Carpenter constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or related structures. Installs, fixes, or modifies all aspects of a building, including walls, ceilings, floors, and stairs, as well as related structures like railings, doors, windows, and air conditioning systems. Being a Carpenter follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met. Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines. Additionally, Carpenter inspects buildings to determine repair that needs to be done. An apprenticeship and/or formal training may be required. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Carpenter works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 10 preferred but will certify, if necessary, upon hire
- Experience of 3 -5 years
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, schedules and other construction documents
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Carpenter that can provide our clients with the best solution to their needs, whether it be for a complete renovation of a residential or commercial space, or a more minor project.
Carpenter Qualifications/Skills
- Pass Pre-employment background check
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools necessary for the craft
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and problem solve when necessary
- Ability to work both as a team player and individually
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety

Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday with potential weekly and weekend overtime
