Career Services Director manages the operation of student career service office to provide job opportunities and career counseling services. Markets the university's Career Services program and its graduates for existing employer relationships and for the development of new employer relationships. Being a Career Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Career Services Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Summary: As a Career Services Advisor you will assist graduates in securing education-related employment through developing their employment search skills. Daily responsibilities of a Career Services Advisor include making outbound calls and emails to employers to tell them about our graduates, community outreach, scheduling interviews, and ensuring placement of graduates. This position is supported and supervised by the Regional Career Services Director, campus, and regional teams.
