Cardiology Supervisor supervises daily operations within the cardiology department. Monitors the work of staff members and ensures quality of tests, procedures, and other aspects of patient care. Being a Cardiology Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Additionally, Cardiology Supervisor may require licensure or certification in an area of specialty. The Cardiology Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Summary:Presbyterian Hearth & Vascular program is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of physicians and APCs at Presbyterian Espanola Hospital. This position is part of the Presbyterian Heart and Vascular Care group which consists of Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Structural Cardiologists and CT Surgery

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides a full spectrum of general cardiology services in an inpatient and outpatient setting
    • Participates in call rotation
    • Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
    • Manages the physician/patient relationship.
    • Performs other functions as required.

    Other requirementsMD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible - Cardiology. NM Medical License
