Being a Cardiology Manager implements strategies and programs to deliver new technologies and services and to enhance the level of care available to patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Cardiology Manager typically reports to a director. The Cardiology Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cardiology Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     This hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility.  In addition, this 200 bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Cardiac Services Department.  This Leapfrog “A” rated hospital is state of the art and has earned multiple awards for collaboration efforts and quality and patient care. The Cardiology Manager will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Pacific Northwest. 

     

    The Cardiology Manager will report directly to the Cath Lab/Cardiology Director. Supported by two assistant managers and several tenured staff,  this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department with state of the art technology, a unique and patient centered approach, and seasoned staff devoted to quality care. The ideal candidate will have previous Cath Lab experience.

     

    The Cardiology Manager will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by all staff is efficient and thorough.  This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Cardiology/Cath Lab Director and physicians to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Cardiology Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives. 

     

    The San Francisco Bay area is known for its breathtaking view of the San Francisco Bay.  This hospital is close to the downtown area, housing some of the best restaurants and ample opportunity for exploring nightlife if the Cardiology Manager is a lover of city living.  If the Cardiology Manager is someone who loves nature, there are loads of hiking trails and activities for nature adventurers of all types.
