Job Title: Assistant Regional Manager
Primary Locations: Newton, MA, Peabody, MA, Sturbridge, MA, and an ability to travel to all three offices as needed

The responsibilities of the Assistant Regional Manager include:
Business/Operations:
Reports directly to the New England Regional Manager in their efforts to support the daily overall operations of the business on the East Coast. They will support the Regional Manager execute and deliver effective leadership resulting in profitability, productivity, and achieving the goals laid out by the Regional Manager, all while demonstrating and exemplifying the Five Core Values each and every day. The Assistant Regional Manager will perform the following functions per the directive of the New England Regional Manager and/or Regional Medical Director, though not limited to:
· Collaborate with administration, doctors, and team leaders in order to improve patient and client services.
● Collaborate with the Regional Manager as well as the Regional Medical Director in the establishment of new practice locations.
● Support the Regional Manager’s action items regarding facilitating and monitoring daily operations and ensure proper communication and information flow.
● Ensure compliance and accountability for all standard hospital operating procedures as well as full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and all applicable laws governing veterinary business operations.
Staff Development:
The Assistant Regional Manager will work in direct contact with Leadership as well as associate level employees such as Technicians, Assistants, Veterinary Doctor’s Assistants, as well as our administrative staff such as Client Service Representative’s and our Remote Record Preparer Program. They will support and collaborate with an effective goal of:
· Emphasis on a positive team culture.
· Support the Regional Manager to challenge and coach site managers to handle personnel issues and develop an accountability culture.
· Support labor and scheduling with site managers regularly to maintain efficiency.
● Explanation of policies relative to Coast to Coast Cardiology.
● Assist in providing medical training for support staff.
● Payment processing, scheduling, and online pharmacy instruction for all staff.
● Support the Regional Manager set performance standards and follow-up through monitoring, assessing, reviewing, and evaluating employee performance (non-clinical) based on established standards.
● Support the Regional Manager with Staff Performance
○ Address concerns.
○ Monitor employee time management.
○ Conflict resolution.
○ Evaluations and reviews.
○ Monitoring of licensure.
○ May support Regional Manager needs and requests having to do with Human Resources and Onboarding/Termination needs as the Regional Manager and Regional Medical Director sees fit.
● Meetings
● Following the directive of the Regional Manager/Regional Medical Director, support/prepare/and when needed, facilitate meetings at the request of the Regional Manager or Medical Director regarding but not limited to:
○ Support Staff
○ Administration
○ Hosting hospitals
○ Vendors and/or Distributors
○ Cardiology Residents/Interns
Public Outreach
Assist and support the efforts of the Regional Manager in the following:
● Coordinate development and implementation of marketing projects.
● Ongoing public relations.
● Coordinate development, implementation, and oversee community campaigns.
Business Financial
The Assistant Regional Manager will support and provide the Regional Manager with high level execution of the following:
● Supervise payroll for employees within region and review hours prior to payroll submission.
● Cost-effective inventory management.
Client/Patient Care
The Assistant Regional Manager may be asked to participate in the following as a support figure for the Regional Manager/Medical Director:
● Create and update clinical operational standards as needed.
● Development and overseeing written protocols and procedures.
Equipment/Data Management
● Overseeing maintenance and servicing of medical equipment.
○ Annual servicing
● Repairs.
● Inventory of office equipment and medical equipment.
The Assistant Regional Manager will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years leadership experience in a veterinary clinical setting, as well as a high solid comfort level working with any FAS type of patient.
Our ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, employee development abilities, strong critical thinking, outstanding communication, and the ability to maintain a positive working atmosphere that supports an excellent client experience. Candidates are required to pass a criminal background check at minimum, and may or may not include credit check and drug screen.

Work Location: This is a Regional position. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation and will be expected to travel at least 50% of the time between Peabody, Newton, and Sturbridge, but not limited to the above locations as we are rapidly growing and adding new locations.
