Cardiology Manager manages the cardiology department services and staff. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations, including quality control, patient safety and regulatory compliance. Being a Cardiology Manager implements strategies and programs to deliver new technologies and services and to enhance the level of care available to patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Cardiology Manager typically reports to a director. The Cardiology Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Cardiology Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Main Responsibilities
- Page and communicate clearly with physicians
- Team player, punctual attendance, and strong work ethic
- Assist with appointment confirmations (if applicable) and responds to patient inquiries
- Prepare and clean patient exam rooms
- Assist with Protime clinic, pacemakers, and other testing
- Place, track, receive, and report on holter monitors and event monitors
- Strong ability to obtain vitals, manual blood pressure, medication reconciliation, perform EKG’s, stress tests hook up, and more
- Input patient information into the EHR system
Are a plus!
- BLS / CPR Certification
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Prior experience in Cardiology
- Knowledge of Microsoft apps
