Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, ensuring efficient and effective functioning
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Manage the financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure quality patient care and optimal workflow
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies and vendors, to negotiate contracts and manage relationships
- Monitor and evaluate practice performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for enhancement
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare management to drive continuous improvement
Skills:
- Strong background in hospital or pediatrics, with a deep understanding of healthcare operations
- Proven experience in practice management or medical office management, including fiscal management responsibilities
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes, as well as experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., Athena)
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team of healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, staff, and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational abilities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in practice operations
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance requirements
