Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist sets up and operates heart/lung machines that support organ function during cardiac surgery or other procedure where circulatory or respiratory function is disrupted. Operates equipment to produce bypass, coronary perfusion, recirculation or partial bypass, or to alter blood temperature, balance, or content. Being a Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist requires an advanced degree. Requires a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential. Additionally, Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
Position Highlights:

Job Summary
- Provides for the delivery of professional RN nursing care. Avera McKennan requires all nurses to practice in a competent level within the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
