Cardio-Pulmonary Perfusionist jobs in Dearborn, MI

Pulmonary Sleep & Wellness Center is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30am - 5:30pm. Make a meaningful difference in the world and apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
• Submit prior-authorizations for medications
• Provide patient education and support

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a medical assistant program preferred
• Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Athena experience is a huge plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
