Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting cannabis products, provide information on strains and usage, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Duties:

- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences

-Provide information on different strains, THC/CBD content, and consumption methods
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Educate customers on responsible cannabis use
- Perform product demonstrations when required
- Upsell products to increase sales

- Assist in packaging and labeling products

- Assist in organizing displays and storage areas

-Complete daily cleaning assignments

Requirements:

-Alaska Marijuana Handlers' Permit

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Familiarity with technical sales and product demos is advantageous

- Be on time for scheduled shifts/2 week notice for any leave or schedule changes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
