The Escape Room Assistant Manager has full responsibility of the day-to-day operations. This includes scheduling and managing a small team of casual staff (6-8 people, depending on the season). Maintaining company standards and answering emails from customers, including large group bookings.

• Employment and HR problem-solver for a team of 6-8 clue masters (including hiring, training, scheduling, termination, performance reviews)
• Must be able to learn and execute all job functions from Assistant Manager to clue masters
• Responding to corporate and group booking emails, fielding phone calls and booking large events
• Must complete all training checklists with employees
• A passion for puzzles is a plus!

*MUST* HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY (Friday-Saturday) General schedule will be Wednesday thru Saturday. Great job for someone looking to get back into the work force and balance with additional jobs/commitments. Chill environment working directly with the owner to make changes quickly.

What is an Escape Room? You are "locked" in a room for 60 Minutes, using the clues around, you must solve the puzzles and make your final escape! This is a unique type of entertainment and we are looking to expand our team to help assist the owner in scheduling and training/managing employees.

• Bonus points for knowledge of escape room games, public speaking experience, artistic abilities, woodworking, electronics

Experience:

• Customer service and management experience (2-3 years minimum)
• Availability both weekdays and weekends (mainly Saturday's)
• Strong communication skills
• Technical skills (job entails managing electronic systems including cameras, escape room software and hardware). It is not required to know these systems in advance, only to have an ability to pick up specific technical skills quickly
• Experience with improvement of customer and employee experience through good communication and management skills
