Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) jobs in Tulsa, OK
Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) ensures that trip of assigned flight (aircraft smaller than 12,500 pounds at takeoff) is conducted in the safest manner possible. Determines flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) possesses current airline transport certificate with necessary type ratings. Requires a minimum of 5,000 hours of flight experience. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - 2 years Waterjet experience preferred
- Must be able to do own set up’s and be able to lay out parts as needed, proficient in reading blueprints
- Must be able to select proper punches, dyes, and tooling
- Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales
Education
- High school diploma or GED
