Determines flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) possesses current airline transport certificate with necessary type ratings. Requires a minimum of 5,000 hours of flight experience. Our small animal exclusive veterinary clinic is hiring for a part time or full time certified or equivalent veterinary technician. We are located in a small town just 15 minutes south of Des Moines. Applicants should be comfortable with all aspects of the job of a veterinary technician including animal restraint, medical procedures (drawing blood, placing IV catheters, etc), surgical and anesthetic monitoring, laboratory duties and client communication.
Applicants will be considered ONLY if they have at least 6 months of experience as a veterinary technician or have completed schooling and are licensed as a CVT. Other applicants will not be considered for this position.
