Waterjet Operator
Job Description
Wasatch Fab and Machine is currently seeking an individual wanting to learn a new trade or expand their skill in the manufacturing industry. The current job posting is for a waterjet operator.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, loading and unloading of material and parts, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements, ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements. Read and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Also, includes maintaining and repairing of waterjet cutter.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Applicant needs to show strong mechanical skills. Having experience running CNC-based machines would be helpful as well as experience working in the fabrication industry. Strong math and blueprint reading skills. Knowledge of when and how to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
