Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) typically requires 7+ years of related experience. Qualifications:- 2 years CNC Brake Press experience preferred
- 2 years Waterjet experience preferred
- Must be able to do own set up’s and be able to lay out parts as needed, proficient in reading blueprints
- Must be able to select proper punches, dyes, and tooling
- Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales
Education
- High school diploma or GED
