Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs and concepts for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using software such as Rhinoceros 3D, AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3ds Max, and SolidWorks, revit
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the project
- Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design integrity and compliance with building codes
- Make revisions to designs based on client feedback or changing project requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role
- Proficient in architectural design software such as Rhinoceros 3D, AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3ds Max, MicroStation, Bluebeam, Revit
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to clients and team members
- Knowledge of graphic design principles is a plus
