Job Summary :

This position is accountable for supervision of the CF Industries Planners. The Planning Supervisor is a safety sensitive position that will provide work direction and technical assistance for routine, shutdown and project activities of the maintenance department.

They will work closely with other departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily maintenance activities. The position has the additional responsibility of contributing to the overall cost effectiveness and efficiency of work.

This position is accountable for supervision of the CF Industries Planners. The Planning Supervisor is a safety sensitive position that will provide work direction and technical assistance for routine, shutdown and project activities of the maintenance department.

They will work closely with other departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily maintenance activities. The position has the additional responsibility of contributing to the overall cost effectiveness and efficiency of work.

This position is a member of the maintenance leadership team and will be expected to lead safety meetings with CF team members and contractors while exemplifying CF safety culture and core values.

You Will :

• Work in a safe manner that promotes EHS and Reliability goals of the plant and the company.
• Participate in Job Safety Analyses and the development of safety action plans.
• Lead turnaround planning / scheduling process ensuring that all milestones and KPI’s area achieved to ensure a safe, and on-budget turnaround.
• Assign and direct work activities to meet schedule requirements and operational issues.
• Ensure that planned work orders are technically completed and work packages developed before they are scheduled in our CMMS.
• Create a Daily / Weekly reporting compliance and any cost initiatives.
• Prepare required weekly / monthly reports and maintain records relative to the department.
• Maintain updated list of approved hotlist work orders in preparation for unplanned outages in each operating unit.
• Exercise management over Planners while monitoring performance to ensure that Routine, PM’s, and Emergent repair follow-ups are planned and scheduled, with all the necessary resources, parts and safety criteria identified.
• Train, coaches, and develops employees to maximize their performance.
• Address and resolve personnel issues with an important focus on growth of the team.
• Work with other departments for continuous maintenance process improvement.
• Provide technical and assistance to the various sections of the maintenance organization.
• Become familiar with the plant design specifications, drawings, and files to ensure accurate, safe, and practical results.

You Have :

• Minimum diploma or GED
• chemical / petrochemical industry over one or more of the following activities :
• Routine / PM Planning / Scheduling
• Turnaround Planning / Scheduling
• Capital Project Planning / Scheduling
• Proficient in PC software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and able to utilize computerized maintenance management software.
• Excellent understanding of asset and project management
