Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. This position will help people and families by completing assessments to determine eligibility for Intellectual and Developmental Disability(I/DD) funding and provide options counseling in multiple counties in Northeast KS. A positive attitude, customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and a responsive and supportive mind-set are central to the position. Six months experience working in the I/DD field is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but experience working with people with developmental disabilities can be substituted at the rate of six months of experience for each semester. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
