Capacity Planning Supervisor jobs in Huntington, NY

EKA Planning is a well-established insurance brokerage & consulting firm with subsideries in the real estate business located in Huntington NY. We are seeking to hire a detail-oriented Bookkeeper. The position will report directly to the President of the company.

• 2 year College degree in Accounting (preferred)
• PROFICIENT WITH QUICKBOOKS AND EXCEL

Select responsibilities include:

• Perform bank runs (Make deposits & cut Certified Checks)
• Confirm incoming wires / Place outgoing wires
• Generate Invoices / Follow up on Outstanding Invoices
• Handle Accounts Receivable (A/R- From Individual Clients & Companies)
• Handle Account Payable (A/P - Vendors & Bills)
• Maintain Master Excel Revenue File
• Input credit card line items & code to proper expense accounts
• Process Incoming Checks & Reimbursement Requests
• Cut checks from Quickbooks & prep envelopes
• Process incoming emails / input deal data
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Process Cash receipts
• Process and track commission payments
• Organize & File Accounting Related Paperwork

Hours are flexible from 30-40 hours per week. Medical, dental, vision and 401K benefits available to candidates willing to work 40 hours per week. Salary dependent upon experience (very negotiable for the right candidate).
