Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Oversee pre-sales responsibilities of the team, guiding them in understanding the client objective and optimizing yield principles to deliver a strong solution, supporting both operational and revenue impacted business. Core Responsibilities
Manages Media Planners and Senior Planners with their day-to-day responsibilities while also acting as a mentor/coach for career growth.
Owns plan development for specific high-priority accounts and assists with overflow of large volume requests with the team as needed.
Partners with other leads at all times to ensure all plans being handled efficiently, cohesively, and strategically.
Works closely with management and partnering planning or yield leads on higher-level projects such as new product rollouts, current system enhancements, complex pricing analysis, and strategic thought sessions.
Participates in brainstorming sessions with partnering teams: sales, sales development, marketing, and other internal teams for RFPs.
Leads point of escalation for team and facilitates conversations around sensitive client needs.
Coordinates the daily activities of the professional team.
Coordinates and assembles sales materials.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Primary Location Pay Range: $75,818.69 - $113,728.04
Additional Range: This job can be performed in Colorado with a Pay Range of $72,522.23 - $113,728.04
