Capacity Planner plans, measures, and monitors operating limits and capacities of an organization. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to ensure alignment with department or unit and determine variance from production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planner identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders like engineering, sales, and marketing to understand and develop current and forecasted plans. Additionally, Capacity Planner utilizes manufacturing data and reports to drive key insights into efficiency, production rate, and other performance metrics. Produces reports that evaluate plant capacity and identify areas needing improvement. Recommends process and equipment improvements to optimize production capabilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Capacity Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Summary The System Capacity Modeling and Forecasting engineer will develop statistical and analytical capacity models for assigned systems using proprietary and other tools. Your core job responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the calibration / interpretation and review of capacity model results using a variety of statistical and other data analytical techniques. You will also interact with IT and business partners for input data collection and model results review. Required Qualifications -3 years of experience in a systems capacity planning role including prior experience building statistical and /or analytical models. -3 years of experience in data analytics including working knowledge of statistical concepts. -Strong written and verbal communicating skills for reporting / presenting technical topics to non-technical audiences. -Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment. -2 years of working experience with SQL and/or PL-SQL Preferred Qualifications -Exposure to IT system monitoring tools -Exposure to cloud-based capacity planning techniques. -Exposure to agile development methodology. -Exposure to object-oriented programming, preferably including Python. -Experience with collaboration tools such as Rally, Miro, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote and Slack Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent field, or 5 years' IT experience. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $94,500.00 - $196,000.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
