Capacity Planner jobs in Macon, GA

CACI is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Enterprise Capacity Analyst to support our Air Force customer in Hampton, VA and Warner Robins, GA.  This position will be a part of our Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS.  You will develop and employ processes to collect, correlate, and assess CMIS-D capacity data to provide analysis of high-level integration issues and evaluate technical impacts of new and existing requirements.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Generates, updates, and maintains capacity data in sustainment engineering documentation.
• Conducts and supports directives from Integrated Sustainment Planning, to recommend and address deficiencies for enabling deployment, operations and support, and decommissioning phases of the weapon system life cycle.
• Provides engineering assessment Software Design Descriptions (SWDDs), design reports, and version descriptions.
• Provides updates to maintain the Interface Control Document (ICDT) and the SWDD when integrating capabilities for sustainment.
• Works with Capacity Engineer to organize and coordinate local engineering and technical management activities.
• Support CM management of the CAB/CCB process and entry criteria, facilitating compliance and rapid movement through the change process and adherence to the Configuration Management Plan. 
• Provide capacity management metrics at various levels of granularity that drive provisioning decisions for virtual machines, memory, and storage.
• Develop and implement solutions for maximize AF DCGS asset management tool to support baseline Configuration Management.
• Create or modify custom queries to support metric discovery from agent-less devices.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience working hands-on systems that are comprised of virtual components within on-premises or external cloud systems.
• Knowledgeable of virtual infrastructures to include compute and storage resources, virtual machines (VMs), and basic networking.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Specific knowledge of AF DCGS life cycle. 
• Experience using Excel spreadsheets.
• Should have a basic understanding of software programming or scripting.
