Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-time Janitor. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to grow, and responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services for our customers' facilities, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness without the presence of staff, visitors, or other employees. This role requires great communication skills to effectively liaise with management. Additionally, the applicant must provide their own transportation and be legally eligible to work in California.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
• Clean mirrors and windows to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management.
• Must provide own transportation.
• Must be legally eligible to work in California.
• Self-motivated and eager to grow.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
