Campus Security Director directs and implements security and safety policies and procedures on campus. Manages the work activities of campus police and patrol units. Being a Campus Security Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Campus Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Campus Security Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Our Campus Security Response Specialist positions help maintain a safe and secure environment for our client by actively monitoring a campus style location, including patrolling a variety of locations both on foot and in a vehicle, report writing, alarm dispatch and turnstile operations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Specialists will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
Specifics:
- Starting Wage $26.25/hr
- 2nd shift and 3rd shift availability needed
- Must be comfortable with working weekends
- 1 Year of Security Experience is a minimum
- Must have a VALID Drivers License
- Extensive Training in Office and On-Site
- Client is a Fortune 500 Company
- Weekly Pay, Overtime Available
