Canby High School is hiring a full-time Campus Security Specialist to begin January 3, 2022.

About This Position

Campus security specialists provide security for a safe school environment for students, staff, and community patrons. They are responsible for campus security supervision to prevent, detect, and confront threats to students and the school and to help maintain discipline and orderly conduct within the school.

Compensation

• The Campus Security Specialist position is at Level T of the classified salary schedule and is based on a 183-day/9-month work year
• The estimated beginning salary for this position is $22.61-$23.97 per hour; however, highly experienced candidates may be placed higher on the salary schedule at hiring
• Bilingual candidates will be placed at Level U of the salary schedule, with an estimated beginning salary of $23.28-24.69 per hour.
• Applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree will automatically be placed at Step 3
• Where will I be placed on the salary schedule?
• In addition to this salary, the Canby School District will pay the employee’s 6 percent PERS contribution
