Job Title: Recreation Director

Pay Range: $19-$25 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Recreation Director to oversee the recreation program in our 120-bed facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging recreational activities. As the Recreation Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that all necessary assessments are completed in a timely manner, and that our recreation assistants carry out their duties effectively under your guidance. Monthly resident council meetings and adherence to the smoking schedule are also integral aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recreation program in a 120-bed facility, focusing on enhancing residents' quality of life.
• Ensure timely completion of all required assessments.
• Supervise and guide recreation assistants, ensuring they fulfill their duties effectively.
• Conduct monthly resident council meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Ensure adherence to the smoking schedule for residents.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Passion for creating and implementing engaging recreational activities.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
