Being a Campus Police Supervisor ensures compliance with state laws, city ordinances, and university regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Campus Police Supervisor requires P. O.S.T. certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Campus Police Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     The Pelham Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies for F/T and P/T Police Officers. Minimum qualifications for this position include: a minimum of 60 credit hours in an associate or baccalaureate educational program, or two years of full-time experience as a certified police officer at the time of appointment, or four years of active duty military experience with an honorable discharge; possess valid driver’s license; be a U.S. citizen; be in good physical condition; and possess the ability and desire to deal with the public. Candidates will be required to complete a rigorous hiring process, to include: written exam; physical agility testing; oral board; psychological exam; polygraph exam and medical/physical exam; as well as an extensive background check.
