Campus Police Supervisor leads the investigation and apprehension of campus criminals. Protects life and property safety on campus. Being a Campus Police Supervisor ensures compliance with state laws, city ordinances, and university regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Campus Police Supervisor requires P. O.S.T. certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Campus Police Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     JOB TITLE:

    Area Supervisor - Chick-fil-A

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Organize, coordinate, and supervise operational duties and assigned personnel in retail food service setting under general supervision.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervise and participate in the operational activities of a retail dining unit including food preparation, ordering, staff supervision and maintenance of area records; prepare production schedules and employee work schedules.
    • Coordinate daily operation for designated food service unit.
    • Assist in developing and enforcing customer service best practices, food safety, and departmental quality standards.
    • Make hiring recommendations; train, supervise and assist in evaluation of work performance of assigned personnel.
    • Supervise and inspect work activities of assigned personnel; set up work and daily operations of a designated area; oversee cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and work area.
    • Uphold brand standards of a national brand quick service restaurant.
    • Monitor cash handling and cash register operations.

    SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

    REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: High School Diploma or GED

    Experience: 2 years work-related experience

    Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

    • Applicable federal, state, local and university rules and regulations related to the operation of the designated area.

    • Food safety standards and best practices.
    • Basic food preparation methods, materials and equipment.
    • Food service supply, equipment, and services ordering and inventory control.
    • Planning and scheduling techniques.
    • Customer service standards and procedures.

    Skills and Abilities to:

    • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
    • Supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
    • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
    • Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
    • Determine labor, equipment, and food costs.
    • Manage time and staff to meet business needs.
    • Work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment.
