Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture jobs in Rhode Island
Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Providence Picture Frame- The oldest art and frame store in New England is hiring for the role of a Custom Picture Frame assembler/finisher. We are looking for motivated individuals interested in woodworking and fabrication to add to our team of craftspeople. Although general woodworking knowledge is encouraged, we are willing to train the right individual.
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Applying backing and hardware to custom framed products
- Ensuring quality control on all products
- Receiving of incoming goods
- Fabricating custom picture frames
- Monitoring day to day work flow ensuring order are fulfilled according to due date
Skills recommended but not required for this position are:
- Employability skills
- General hand tool knowledge
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Power tool knowledge (table saw, miter, circular saw)'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
