Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Camera Operator to join our team at Infocomm 2024 in June as the Las Vegas Convention Center. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality streaming footage as directed by the producer.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras and related equipment to capture footage
- Be responsive to the directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements
- Follow scripts or shot lists to ensure desired shots are captured
- Frame shots and adjust camera settings to achieve the desired visual effect
- Safely maintain camera equipment and assist in troubleshooting if any technical issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Camera Operator or similar role
- Proficient in video production techniques and equipment operation
- Be polite to team and public.
- Be on-time each day of shoot 30-min prior to start time.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
1 camera operator is needed for 3days and 1 for 1day during the 5days of the event TBD
