Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Qualifications:
Must have a background in the installation and troubleshooting of Access Control Systems and Camera Systems.
Attention to detail and quality of work
Certifications and/or formal training in any of the following items is a Plus (Bicsi).
Experience installing and terminating Fiber Optic cable.
Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
Stable work history, professionalism, and dependability
Outstanding customer service skills * Strong organizational skills * Advanced troubleshooting skills; adept at utilizing resources and finding solutions * Occasional heavy lifting
Ability to work with other technical personnel for collaborative problem solving
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
2 years experience working in a commercial, residential and/or industrial environment.
2 years Experience pulling and/or terminating Cat 5/5e, Cat 6/6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable
2 years Skills for terminating and dressing distribution frames (66 and/or 110 blocks, patch panels, etc)
2 years Experience using digital multi-meters, toning and/or testing cable
2 years Ability to troubleshoot any issues with the network
You must be able to pass a background and reference checks.
You must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license.
Own you own basic hand tools.
Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
