Job Summary:
Custom Local Frame Shop is looking for a dedicated, hard-working, and experienced Picture Framer to join our team. The position requires attention to detail, ingenuity, artistic design, and strong relational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with customers.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and matting options; Provide recommendations on framing techniques and design choices
• Select appropriate materials and tools for framing projects
• Use framing equipment to design, cut, and assemble with precision
• Mounting and assembly of artwork, photographs, and other items in frames
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of finished frames
• Support payment processing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in custom framing required, 3 years
• Knowledge of different framing materials and techniques; Excellent sense of color and design
• Must be able to operate all equipment in the production of custom art framing to include drills, screw gun, v-nailer, glass cutter, dry mount, mitre saws, choppers, mat cutters
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to satisfy physical requirements to includes lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching; Ability to remain standing for periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Bel Air, MD 21014: Relocate before starting work (Required)
