Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Do you like adventure and technology and do you have experience operating camera trucks to inspect underground utilities, water/wastewater pipes, and laterals? We are now looking for an experienced Camera Truck Operator to join our team based out of the Plymouth, MI, area perfroming lateral and cross bore camera inspections.
Please note: This is not a CCTV surveillance job.
We are also offering a one-time $1,500 milestone bonus for all field new employees paid out in two (2) increments over the first 12 months!

What You Will Do:
Our crews are the true backbone of our company. As a Camera Truck Operator, you are responsible for closed caption television monitoring of robotic remote camera tractors or push cameras in sewer and storm lines and performing lateral and cross bore inspections. This includes overseeing the work of the field technicians, setting-up camera equipment to specific size of jobs, insertion and removal of cameras from various sewer and drain lines, assessing pipe conditions and recording in digitally formatted videos.
