Position Summary:
The Lease Operator position is responsible for maintaining optimum production from assigned wells with minimal oversight of all routine duties, using functional and technical knowledge to perform the job and solve moderately complex issues. This position demonstrates familiarity with chemical treating and multiple types of artificial lifts and can troubleshoot with some assistance of supervisor or tech in order to maximize well production.
Responsibilities:
ï‚· Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule
ï‚· Routinely inspect pumping units, compressors, and other equipment; ensures they are well maintained
ï‚· Monitor production equipment, compressors, wellheads, dehydrators and meters
ï‚· Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water tanks; record all seal records
ï‚· Analyze production related problems and work with foreman and other personnel to troubleshoot
ï‚· Submit data and turn in all reports and tickets on a timely basis
ï‚· Inspect lease sites, ensure they are clean and maintained; check for spills and fluid leaks
ï‚· Provide relief pumping when needed
ï‚· Communicate regularly with production foreman
ï‚· Ensure company provided vehicle is well maintained and cleaned
ï‚· Perform light maintenance on equipment
ï‚· Optimize artificial lift systems as required
ï‚· Optimize chemical treating program
ï‚· Performs other duties as assigned

ï‚· Knowledge of gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
ï‚· Knowledge of safety/environmental requirements and practices

Minimum Requirements
