JOB SUMMARY: As a Cage Cashier, you will redeem slot tickets, table games chips and coins for guests. You will be responsible and accountable for chip/coin/cash funds assigned to you in the window.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Good math and counting skills are required. A minimum of 1 ½ to 2 years high-volume cash handling preferred. Banking experience preferred; however, cashiering and guest service background will be considered. Must be on call to work any shift as needed.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand for an eight (8) hour shift for more. Must be willing to tolerate secondhand smoke in a smoke-filled environment. Experience handling large amounts of money is preferred. Must be self-motivated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed. Exercise good judgment. Must be able to work in an intense and fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Redeems slot tickets, chips and coins for players. Responsible and accountable for chip, coin and cash at assigned window during your shift. Must process transactions accurately and maintain window variance to an absolute minimum. Must complete all paperwork as needed and submit to Cage Supervisor at the end of your shift.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory training. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
