POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Primarily responsible and accountable for supervising the overall operations of the cage vault during the shift, under the direction of the Cage Manager. Ensure that all vault personnel adhere to policy and procedure. Maintains security and accountability of company funds. Interfaces with other Casino departments.

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all Cage areas and cage equipment.
Maintain security and accountability of company funds located in the cage. Ensure that cage vault personnel adhere to policy and procedures.
Be able to place qualified personnel in highly responsible positions.
Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees, and thank them when they lend assistance.
Interface with other departments of the Casino.
Supervises the overall operations of the cage vault activities.
Maintains security and accountability of company funds located in the cage vault.
Responsible for ensuring all reports and paperwork are sent to accounting on time.
Display thorough knowledge of all Cage policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and ensure cage vault personnel adhere to policy and procedure.
Assist Cage Manager in interviewing prospective employees, assist with the hiring process, and train Cage Personnel.
Assists in personnel performance evaluations and in performing disciplinary counseling as needed.
Display a thorough knowledge of all Title 31 and Gaming Regulations and ensure department compliance. Responsible for generating weekly schedules.
Responsible for making sure that all paid leave requests are completed accurately, and that the shift has appropriate coverage.
Responsible for making sure that payroll is completed properly in the payroll system. Evaluate and make the necessary suggestions to improve efficiency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prefer candidates with an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Must have (5) five years of Prior experience working in a casino or gaming environment preferably in a cage or cash-handling position.
Must obtain and maintain a State of Arizona Gaming Certification and a Fort McDowell Tribal Gaming License, with required fingerprinting.
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and pass a complete background check.
